Last updated: May 1, 2026
This privacy policy explains what information is collected when you visit julieschatzmusic.com or submit an inquiry through one of the booking forms, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and how to request deletion.
This site is operated by Julie Schatz Music, a sole proprietorship based in Brooklyn, New York. For questions about anything in this policy, contact: bookings@julieschatzmusic.com.
What is collected

- Phone number, event date, venue, and city
- Guest count and selected service or package
- How you heard about Julie (optional)
- The free-text message describing your event
- Your explicit consent to be contacted about your inquiry
2 · Technical information collected automatically
When you submit a form, the following technical metadata is captured by our form processor (Formspree) for security and fraud-prevention purposes:
- Your IP address
- Your browser type and version (user agent)
- The page you submitted from and timestamp of submission
This information is used solely to detect and block spam, abuse, and fraudulent inquiries. It is not used for advertising, marketing, or third-party data sharing.
What is not collected
This site does not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking scripts. There are no cookies set for marketing or analytics. Embedded players from Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and Vimeo may set their own cookies when you interact with them — please refer to those services' privacy policies for details.
How information is used
- To respond to your inquiry — Julie reads each inquiry personally and replies by email or phone, typically within 24 hours.
- To prepare a tailored proposal — venue, date, guest count, and service selection inform your quote.
- To detect and block fraudulent inquiries — IP and timing metadata are reviewed when an inquiry shows signs of being a scam attempt.
How long it is kept
Inquiry submissions are retained in Formspree's archive for the duration of Julie's account with them, and in Julie's email inbox indefinitely as part of her business records. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
Who has access
Inquiry data is accessible to Julie Schatz directly and to Formspree as the form-processing service. Formspree's data handling is governed by their privacy policy. Your information is not sold, traded, or shared with any other party.
Your rights
You can request the following at any time by emailing bookings@julieschatzmusic.com:
- Access — a copy of the inquiry data you've submitted
- Correction — any factual errors fixed
- Deletion — your inquiry and associated metadata removed from records
